January 31, 2025 - Revolutionary Workers Party General Secretary Jananeta Saiful Haque has said that the government is unable to utilize the huge support of political parties and the people to move the country forward. He expressed concern and said that after the unprecedented mass uprising, the dream of change has gradually started to fade. Due to the lack of wisdom and foresight, much of the huge potential for desired change is dying in the field.

He angrily mentioned that due to the lack of effectiveness of the government, various organized activities against the rights and dignity of women are increasing, and obstacles are also being observed in cultural activities. It is necessary to find out whether there is any political support behind all this. He demanded that legal action be taken against those involved in these misdeeds.

He said that students and youth have the opportunity to form political parties independently. It is not the job of the interim government to support the formation of new political parties by students and youth. If it does so, the interim government will fall into crisis, and the future political prospects of the students will also be hampered.

He said that the interim government formed through the mass uprising needs to keep its neutral character intact to avoid debate and division, and must remain steadfast in its goal of democratic transition through reforms and elections. There is no room for them to lose their way or be confused by taking sides with anyone in particular.

He said that the mass uprising of the student workers has brought a historic opportunity to establish a democratic state and society based on equality without exploitation. The young people must make good use of this opportunity. For this, he called on everyone to unite. He called on the youth to awaken their spirit to utilize this immense potential for change.

He delivered the above speech as the chief guest at the meeting of the Central Convening Committee of the Revolutionary Youth Solidarity. The meeting was held at the Solidarity Auditorium in Segunbagicha.

The meeting, chaired by the convener of the Revolutionary Youth Solidarity, Babar Chowdhury, was also addressed by the organization's member secretary Mir Rezaul Alam, Jamilur Rahman Rahman Dalim, Babar Chowdhury, Ariful Islam, Rajesh Khan, Safayet Kamal Dibyo, Sajjadul Karim Alvi, Al Mamun Saikat Imam Uddin Dipu Das, Nurul Islam, Mohammad Sumon, Sujan Sheikh and others. The metropolitan leaders of the Revolutionary Workers Party Mir Mofazzal Hossain Mostaq, Abul Kalam Azad, Jamal Sikder were present.
