CA to Inaugurate 3-Day DC Conference Tomorrow

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus is set to inaugurate a three-day Deputy Commissioners (DC) Conference tomorrow in Dhaka. The event will kick off at 10:30 am in the Shapla Hall of the Chief Adviser’s Office (CAO) in Tejgaon.


Following the inauguration, the Chief Adviser will engage in an open discussion with the Deputy Commissioners, fostering collaboration and dialogue on key administrative issues.

In the evening, Professor Yunus will meet with members of the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association for further deliberations.

On Monday, alongside the working sessions, the DCs will have the opportunity to meet with the Chief Justice at the Supreme Court auditorium, marking a significant moment for judicial-administrative interaction.

This year’s conference will see the presentation of 353 proposals by DCs and divisional commissioners, addressing a wide array of issues concerning local governance and administration. A total of 34 working sessions with various ministries and departments are scheduled throughout the conference.

The event is set to conclude on Tuesday, wrapping up a series of discussions aimed at strengthening administrative practices across the country.
