The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will host an extended meeting in Dhaka on February 27 (Thursday), though the venue has not yet been finalized.

At a press conference held at the party’s central office in Nayapaltan, BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi confirmed the meeting date but stated the venue would be announced later.

Rizvi also revealed that a 27-member committee has been formed to organize the event, with him serving as the convener. Additionally, six sub-committees have been established to assist with the meeting’s implementation.

The extended meeting will include leaders from BNP's National Standing Committee and Central Executive Committee, as well as members of the Chairperson's Advisory Council, District BNP Presidents, and other key party members. It will also feature representatives from various levels of the party, including Upazila, Thana, and Municipal BNP Presidents, Conveners, and General Secretaries. BNP candidates from the 2018 general election, those who received primary nominations, and members from 11 central front organizations and associate bodies will also attend.
