Swiss envoy meets NCP, backs democratic Bangladesh

Ambassador of Switzerland to Bangladesh Reto Renggli today hosted a lunch meeting with leaders of the youth-led political party, the National Citizen Party (NCP), at the Swiss Residence in Dhaka.


During the meeting, the Swiss envoy exchanged views with the NCP leadership on the current political developments, democratic reforms, and the upcoming national elections in Bangladesh.

According to a statement issued by the Embassy, Switzerland will continue to stand by Bangladesh in its pursuit of a democratic, stable, and prosperous future for its citizens.

NCP leaders Akhter Hossen and Dr Tasnim Jara, among others, attended the discussion, reports BSS.
