July revolution to shape Bangladesh’s future path: AG

Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman today said the leading forces of the July revolution will determine the path of the future Bangladesh.


“The winners of the Liberation War of 1972 made the constitution. The winner forces of 1990 retrieved the democratic system in the country and the same way the winner forces of the July mass uprising will determine how would be the upcoming referendum. So, the leading forces of July revolution will determine the pathway of the future Bangladesh,” he said. 

The attorney general said this while speaking as the chief guest at a discussion and cultural function marking the birth and death anniversary of Poet Golam Mostafa at Manoharpur village of Shailakupa upazila under Jenaidah district here this afternoon.

Awami League is a banned party, so any activities and programme in the name of this party would be recognized as crime, said the attorney general to the journalists following the programme, reports BSS.
