Nationwide Prayers Held for Khaleda Zia’s Speedy Recovery

Special prayers, including Doa Mahfil, Milad, and Khatme Quran, were held across Bangladesh seeking the early recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The prayers took place at mosques, temples, social organisations, and other places of worship across the country.
In Dinajpur, prayers were held at the Bandhan Community Center around 10:30 pm, conducted by district BNP president Advocate Md. Mofazzal Hossain Dulal.
In Habiganj, a Milad Mahfil and food distribution program took place at the Habiganj Orphanage, with Central BNP Organizing Secretary Alhaj GK Gaus as the chief guest.
In Shirajganj, recitations of Fatiha and Darood Sharif were offered at a special prayer session seeking Khaleda Zia’s quick recovery and the nation’s wellbeing, attended by BNP Standing Committee member and former minister Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku.
In Jhenaidah, the district BNP organised a Doa and Milad at the district party office, while Nilphamari BNP office also held prayers for her recovery.
At Dhaka University, university authorities conducted special prayers after Zuhr at the Nawab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban Mosque. Islami Arabic University held similar prayers at its central mosque.
The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) offered prayers, including Munajat and Doa, for her wellbeing. The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council also held prayers at Dhakeshwari National Temple, and Agrani Bank PLC's Zia Parishad prayed for her health at the bank’s head office.
A Milad Mahfil was organised at Baitul Aqsa Mosque in Segunbagicha, Dhaka, led by a JCD leader.
Special prayers were also observed in several other districts and upazilas, including Sylhet, Cumilla, Patuakhali, Nandail, Vandaria, and Shoilakupa, demonstrating nationwide concern and support for Begum Khaleda Zia’s speedy recovery.
