It is an irony that unity among the major political parties, particularly BNP (Bangladesh Nationalist Party) and Bangladesh Jaamat-e-Islami (BJI) looks tearing apart.  Both these two parties had political alliance for a longtime for national interest. But after the ouster of Sheikh Hasina, their alliance withered away only for party interest. To speak the truth, BJI first unilaterally initiated to end unity and alliance with BNP.  Now they (BNP and BJI) seem to be inimical to one another. It will doom our nation. It may a trap of India to kill two birds with one stone or to set a thief catch a thief.

Jammat is more vocal against BNP and condemns BNP using such harsh language which its enemy Awami League (AL) seldom did. Such disunity between these two parties practically helps India to maintain its hegemonic paw on Bangladesh.

The people of Bangladesh after about two decades are going to elect a patriotic government through free and fair election which is scheduled to be held on 12 February 2025.

The forthcoming election is going to be after the ouster of Indian surrogate Sheikh Hasina who is infamous for looting the country, hoarding money outside Bangladesh and killing the innocent patriotic leaders and activists of different political parties, particularly BNP and Jammat; even the common people, who endured inhuman torture.

The people of Bangladesh after about two decades are going to elect a government through a free and fair election which is scheduled to be held on February 12, 2026.

The forthcoming election is being organised after the ouster of Indian surrogate Sheikh Hasina who enjoying Indian support and its indulgence established a dictatorial regime. She used the law enforcing agencies and Judiciary, bureaucracy, in brief whole of Bangladesh according to her own whims. She and her party looted Bangladesh, hoarded money outside Bangladesh, indiscriminately killed innocent patriotic leaders and activists of different political parties, even the common people, who faced inhuman torture.

The patriotic people of Bangladesh sacrificing their blood and lives once again thwarted India’s hegemonic design in Bangladesh and freed democracy from its sponsored surrogate Sheikh Hasina’s dictatorial shackle. It was an unprecedented revolution organized originally started by the university going students and ultimately participated by all the patriotic political parties and common people who roared like lions and engulfed the country like wildfire that compelled Sheikh Hasina to flee to India to save her life.

India, the so-called largest democracy of the world, still patronizes Dictator Sheikh Hasina to come back to Bangladesh and regain power though she is accused of killing thousands of innocent patriotic people.

On the other hand, it has been alleged that India desperately tries to disrupt the forthcoming general election of Bangladesh scheduled to be held on February, 12, 2026. India officially requested the interim government Chief of Bangladesh Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammed Younus to delay the general election and withdraw the ban imposed on Awami League and its allies or grand alliance consist of pro-India parties.

We are to be very cautious and prudent regarding India’s duplicity and cruelty and comprehend the reason why such request was placed. If for any reason get any chance the most tragic massacre will occur in Bangladesh. India will indiscriminately deal with us and will see who is Awami league, or BNP or Jammat. All the Muslims of Bangladesh are equal to India, as we are Muslims and her enemy. India brand such massacre as a civil war among parties Bangladesh claiming that it cannot afford civil war in its next door to security its territorial integrity.

In 2025 the Acting Chairman of BNP in an interview with BBC Bangla hoped to form a national government consisting of all the parties which were involved in ousting Indian agent dictator Sheikh Hasina.  Memorable, Tarique Rahman did not show any sign that he withdrew his commitment. Memorable, he made same commitment much earlier, while addressing an annual conference of BNP through ‘Skype.’

But unfortunately, dismaying all Bangladeshis Jammat-e-Islami unilaterally made an unprecedented announcement. Professor Mia Golam Parwar on October 3, 2025 announced the names of 300 candidates saying Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has finalized full-scale preparations for the upcoming national elections (2027) across the country. Such announcement openly signalled to BNP and all other parties, which were the partners of mass uprising that toppled Indian agent Sheikh Hasina.

But announcing the 300 parliamentary seats without any consultation with its longtime coalition partners Jammat not only broke the unity but also dishonoured all of its partners and their concerned leaders. It is also hoaxing at (dishonouring) all other party leaders.

Such an extreme attitude of Jamaat without any acceptable reason is a stab on the unity of the patriotic forces and the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh and directly serves the interest of our enemies, which is waiting for a longtime to ruin our unity to grab country.

Such an announcement is directly an act of unilateral dissolution of four-party or 20-party grand alliance, which remind us Jamaat's role of 1971. The role of Jamaat in 1971 was entirely an act of treason when the then people of East Pakistan were compelled to fight against Pakistani forces. Jamaat erroneous policy caused death to three million Bangladeshis according to Indian claim (it was a bogus exaggeration and estimation of India).

The current unilateral role of Jamaat is more destructive and worse than that of 1971.India is still more aggressive and desperate against Bangladesh. Some of the Indian media, quoting Indian diplomats, policymakers, army officials publicly propagate that Bangladesh is going to face a civil war or national chaos. If the leaders of different political parties do not exercise their conscience and patriotism and are guided by their external sponsors it will be difficult to save this country from internal chaos, and even civil war.

In 1971 we fought against Pakistan, which was also orchestrated by India. At that time, we could recognize who are our foes and friends. But now if such an unfortunate prediction comes true (May Almighty Allah makes my prediction wrong) we will kill one another. We shall not be able to differentiate among ourselves. The enemy will avail of this opportunity and crush us indiscriminately irrespective of our party or ideological identity.

India will never want to leave opportunities that it grabbed from its agent Sheikh Hasina, rather it will strengthen them and will leave no stone unturned to capture Bangladesh at any cost. India invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy agents in all sectors of Bangladesh to reach its goal of occupying it.

I think all the patriotic people of Bangladesh know about India’s longstanding utopian dream of Awakhand Bharat. All the overt and covert treaties signed by Sheikh Hasina under different names are directed to turn Bangladesh to a subservient state and occupy Bangladesh in course of time through cultural aggression. We have seen how non-Muslim cultures were infiltrated in Bangladesh during the last 15 years of Hasina regime. This process will get more momentous if Jamaat become becomes India’s surrogate. It is India's long-term program.  Let us be cautious and save our country with solid unity. It is not a time to run for power, but to save our country and its sovereignty.

If the forthcoming election successfully concludes, still elected government will not be able to peacefully run the government if there is no national consensus among political parties. Only a national government what Tarique Rahman from the beginning suggested can save Bangladesh from imminent debacle, which may enable this most devastated country from destruction and lead it to the path of peace and  prosperity.

And Tarique Rahman is only personality who is known to all over the world and have grassroots level popularity and acceptability all over Bangladesh. All the parties who collectively participated in anti-Hasina mass-uprising and are sincerely committed to form a national government to peacefully and honestly develop Bangladesh.
