Dhaka, Feb 17 - The BNP Parliamentary Party (BPP) on Tuesday elected party Chairman Tarique Rahman as the Leader of the House.

The decision came at a meeting of the BPP at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban, said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

This means Tarique Rahman is set to form the new government as Prime Minister.

At the first parliamentary party meeting, Fakhrul also said it was decided that no BNP MP will take a duty-free car or any government plot. - UNB
