BNP Members of Parliament have decided not to accept duty-free cars or government plots, party media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said on 17 February.

The decision was made at the first meeting of the BNP parliamentary party following the swearing-in ceremony earlier in the day.

Shairul Kabir confirmed that no BNP MP will take the duty-free car facility and that the party’s lawmakers will also forgo any government-allocated plots.

Earlier on the same day, BNP MPs took their oath, officially beginning the new parliamentary term.
