Rain likely at few places over country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at some places across the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am today.

"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions during the time," said a met office bulletin.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.

However, day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release added.

Country's maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 37.0 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi and minimum temperature today was 22.5 degrees Celsius at Sayedpur.

The sun sets at 6.16pm and rises at 5:46 am tomorrow in Dhaka, reports BSS.
