40 DU students get IFIC Bank research grants, scholarship

40 DU students of different departments of Dhaka University (DU) were awarded IFIC Bank research grants, scholarship.



Twenty five meritorious students of different departments of Dhaka University (DU) were awarded "IFIC Bank research grants"  for conducting research while fifteen other students were conferred scholarship for their academic performances.

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman distributed research grants and scholarships among the students at a function Monday at Nabab Nawab  Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university.

DU Business faculty dean Professor Dr Mohammad Abdul Moin, DU Engineering and Technology faculty dean Dr Hafiz Md Hasan Babu, Managing Director and CEO of 

IFIC Bank Shah A Sarwar, with DU Treasurer Prof Dr Momtaj Uddin Ahmed in the chair. 

While addressing, Prof Akhtaruzzaman urged the recipients of research grants to conduct fruitful research for achieving sustainable development goals.
