58 win World Meditation Day contest: Quantum Foundation

Dhaka, June 21 - Quantum Foundation on Monday awarded 58 winners who participated in a month-long competition held by the organization to celebrate World Meditation day.
The winners were awarded through a programme held at the city’s IDB Bhaban on the evening of World Yoga day.
At the program presided by Chief Co-ordinator of the foundation Madam M Nahar Ali, eminent educationist and atomic scientist Dr M Shomsher Ali were present as the chief guest and pioneer of Bangladesh math Olympiad, computer scientist Dr Mohammad Kaykobad was present as special guest.
On May 21, for the first time, the country celebrated World Meditation day. More than a thousand participants took part in the competition divided into five groups such as essay writing, photography, drawing, audio-video and meditation-related quotes writing as part of the celebration.
Each of the 58 winners in the open for all competition received Tk 10,000 worth of books as a prize and certificate. Besides, each participant was motivated with a certificate of participation and a book of ‘Shuddhachar’. - UNB
