DSE Index Rises 64.73 Points in First Hour of Trading

The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw a positive trend in the first hour of trading on Thursday, with the main index rising by 64.73 points.


By 11 a.m., DSE trading data showed 5.53 crore shares and units had exchanged hands through 53,763 transactions. The total trading value reached Tk 163.4 crore.

A total of 369 companies participated in the market, with 312 seeing their prices rise, 33 experiencing declines, and 24 remaining unchanged.

The DSEX, the benchmark index, rose by 64.73 points to reach 5,380.74 points. The DSES Shariah index climbed by 15.27 points to 1,200.23 points, while the DS30 blue-chip index gained 21.50 points, reaching 1,993.71 points.
