ICT can ensure proper spending of public money: ICT Secy

ICT Division Secretary Shish Haider Chowdhury today observed that the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can ensure the transparency and accountability in spending the public money.


"We can bring far-reaching changes in the expenditure of public funds through ICT. All departments of the government are working hard for the betterment of the people of the country," he said.

The secretary said this while speaking as the resource person on the fifth day of the residential training at Engineering Staff College Bangladesh (ESCB) in Gazaria, Munshiganj, reports BSS.

The training programme was held on 'Public Procurement Laws and Rules' for the deputy directors, assistant directors and deputy assistant directors of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
