Dhaka, 16 June - RFL- ACI 6th Bangladesh International Squash Open 2025 will be held at Dhaka cantonment and IUB Squash complex in the capital from July 26 to 30.

Four South Asian Countries - Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and host Bangladesh - will compete in the professional international meet, organized by BSRF.

Talking to BSS today (Monday), BSRF general secretary Brig Gen (retd.) G M Quamrul Islam said professional squash players from South Asian countries would participate in the tournament. There will be two separate tournaments for boys and girls simultaneously. The aim is to provide an international standard playing environment for the players ahead of the upcoming South Asian Games.

The level of the men's tournament would be "PSA Challenge Tour-3" while the level of the women's tournament would be "WSF Satellite Tournament", he said.

Quamrul said that nine men and thirteen women's players are already undergoing camp for the tournament though the number of players of both men's and women's sections would be reduced to four member later stage.

He thinks that the upcoming tournament would be perfect platform for preparation for the players for the upcoming SA Games. Apart from the men's squash team, Bangladesh women's squad team would also participate for the first time in the upcoming SA Games in the history of Bangladesh squash.BSS
