Victory Day drama Tahar Shondhane on BTV

The drama will be aired on BTV at 9:00 PM on Saturday, December 16.

On the occasion of Victory Day, a special drama titled ‘Tahar Shondhane' will be broadcasted on Bangladesh Television. It has been written and directed by Akram Khan, and produced by Md. Nasir Uddin.

The drama will be aired on BTV at 9:00 PM on Saturday, December 16. The cast includes Tropa Majumdar, Tanoy Biswas, Arman Parvez Murad, Sheikh Swapna, Akram Khan, Adrita, and many others.

In the drama, the story unfolds as Farhad, a freedom fighter living abroad, returns to his homeland every year in search of his lost love. He joined in his quest by the young filmmaker Rakib and his sister Shemonty. Her elder aunt, a valiant freedom fighter named Deepali, sits in a wheelchair, carrying the memories of the war, while a thread of hope for reunion with her lost love keeps her anchored. Will Farhad find his lost love amidst these circumstances?

Additionally, on Victory Day, Bangladesh Television will broadcast a program featuring patriotic songs, a ceremony where the President and Prime Minister will directly offer floral tributes at the National Martyrs' Memorial. Special musical performances, a poetry reading session, memorial ceremonies, and interviews at the Bangladesh Betar (Radio) center with a musical event, along with the airing of the Bengali film 'Tungiparar Mia Bhai,' a national tribute directly from the Bangabhaban, special dance performances, a children's program, and a discussion forum.
