Kuakata beach colorfully decorated marking Bangladesh festival on Thursday.
Patuakhali: To further develop the tourism industry, the two-day Bangladesh Festival Kuakata is starting from Friday, December 8 in Kuakata. Kuakata beach area has been redecorated. The pandal has been prepared. 60 stalls have been created. These stalls will showcase the history, traditions and various products of Kuakata. Tourists can visit these stalls to know the early history of Barisal.
Also on the occasion of this festival, Rakhine cultural events, puppet dance, bowl song, lantern festival, beach volleyball, pitha festival and kite festival will be held throughout the day. The Tourism Board and the Ministry of Tourism are organizing this festival in every department under Mujib's campaign to highlight the iconic, destination, cultural heritage of Bangladesh to the world and the people of Bangladesh. - Gofran Biswas Palash
