Known as the “Land of the Thunder Dragon,” Bhutan stands out for its serene landscapes and cultural depth. Bangladeshi citizens do not require a visa; they can obtain a travel permit on arrival. Direct flights operate between Dhaka and Paro.
With a Tk 40,000–50,000 budget, travellers can enjoy destinations such as Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Buddha Point, Punakha Dzong, and Jigme Dorji National Park. The picturesque Paro Valley blends peace, spirituality, and natural grandeur.
4. Sri Lanka — The pearl of the Indian Ocean
Sri Lanka enchants visitors with its mix of beaches, ancient cities, and lush highlands. Travelling there is simple — Bangladeshis can apply online for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA).
A direct flight from Dhaka to Colombo takes about four hours, and a trip can be enjoyed on a Tk 50,000–60,000 budget. Must-see spots include Kandy, Sigiriya, Galle Fort, Nuwara Eliya, and Mirissa Beach.
5. Kenya — The land of safari adventures
Located in East Africa, Kenya is famed for its wildlife safaris and vast savannahs. Bangladeshi citizens can apply for an e-Visa before travel. Flights from Dhaka to Nairobi take around 11 to 12 hours.
