By exporting Mangos to HongKong for the first time of Bangladesh History , Bangladesh steps ahead for her economic advancement, Mr. Md Mahtab Ali of MTB Agro and Garden says after struggling for 5 months he could break all the barriers of exporting Mango to Hongkong . He said he directly communicated to Food and Environmental Hygiene Department of HongKong to find the process of exporting fresh fruits to HongKong and finaly he could export mangoes to Axiom Resources Ltd , Hong Kong . Mr. Mahtab Ali, a Hong Kong-based mango exporter, said he supplied Amrapali, Fazli and Bari-4 mangoes from Orchard of Ahsan Habib of Shibganj upazila , Chapainawabganj District. I have been able to establish a brand image by packing and supplying safe and healthy mango baskets to a few well-known local shopping malls and companies. I am packing the most advanced and visually pleasing boxes that are attractive and suitable for gift giving. Mr. Mahtab also said his endeavor will remain on to explore new destination for exporting mangos like Khirsapat mango , 3rd GI (Geographical Indicator) product of Bangladesh, with Bangladesh Flag and make our product known to the people all over the world.

He further said that in accordance with Hong Kong's mango export policy, we tested the mangoes in the Pesticide Analytical Laboratory Entomology Department of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) and submitted the report to Hong Kong concern authority on Monday along with exported mangoes. According to the international rules, the country of export of perishable fresh vegetables and fruits need to provide Phytosanitary Certificate. This certificate certifies that the mangoes do not have anything harmful for human. This requires a very sensitive and expensive MRL (Maximum Residue Level) test. – Press release
