3 International Trade Shows kicks off in Dhaka

Three International Trade Shows 6th Bangladesh BUILDCON International Expo 2022, Ruijie Presents 6th Bangladesh WOOD International Expo, Inaugural edition of Electrical Expo Bangladesh 2022 has commenced at the Expo Zone, International Convention City Bashundhara.

Minister for Planning MA Mannan on Thursday inaugurated the programme as a the chief guest.

Ask Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd organized Bangladesh BUILDCON-2022 and Bangladesh WOOD International Expo for the 6th time at Bashundhara International Convention City of the capital. The three-day exhibition will end on November 26.

Ask trade and exhibitions Pvt Ltd Director Nanda Gopal K and Managing Director Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan Prem Anveshi, Managing Director Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd, Khandakar Ruhul Amin, Chairman of Bangladesh Electrical Association were present at the inaugural event.

Inaugurating the 6th Bangladesh Buildcon, Wood and Electrical International Expo 2022, Planning Minister MA Mannan was happy to note the variety of products, materials and machinery on display at the three exhibitions and he complimented the organisers for the effort put by them in putting up these three international trade shows and he welcomed the international exhibitors to Bangladesh saying Bangladesh is open for open to do business with them.

In the three shows, more than 2,000 brands from nearly 200 International and domestic exhibitors displayed heir products. They highlighted various building materials, machinery, equipment, and other technological advancements, machinery, tools, materials related to the wood and furniture industries including hardware, tools, fittings, laminates, boards, coatings, abrasives, and adhesives, among other things. Also on display there were various electrical products and accessories showcased by members of Bangladesh Electrical Association.

The purpose of the event, according to the organizers, is to help Bangladesh's furniture, construction and electrical industries is to find alternate suppliers, optimize costs and find newer solutions.

“We are happy to be back in business after a gap due to Pandemic and response and product display is impressive thus making it one of the largest events for the sector,” said Tipu Sultan Bhuiyan, MD ASK Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd.

“Given the situation where availability of materials is sketchy, costs are escalating and deliveries are uncertain, it is important to identify new sources and look at cost-saving options that have become critical to business. Thus visiting these tradeshows will immensely benefit to the stake holders” said K Nandagopal, Director of ASK Trade and Exhibitions.

“Bangladesh WOOD International Expo is only exclusive technology tradeshow for the Wood and Woodworking sector of the country. The event has been aiding the sector to upskill, find suppliers offering tools and showcase newer technology over the year thus helping the sector to improve productivity and modernize” said Namit Gupta Director of Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd.

The trade shows will be open to the business visitors from 11 am to 7 pm daily.
