Bangladesh and China have agreed to expand the scale of bilateral trade.



Bangladesh and China have agreed to expand the scale of bilateral trade, especially the export of Bangladeshi high-quality specialty products to China.

The developments came when Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen called on State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam at the Ministry of Commerce at Bangladesh Secretariat here Wednesday.

The two sides spoke highly of the major achievements in trade and investment between China and Bangladesh and agreed to expand the scale of bilateral trade, especially the export of Bangladeshi high-quality specialty products to China, said a Chinese Embassy press release.

 They also deeply discussed on promoting China-Bangladesh FTA negotiation, providing more financial support for bilateral trade and attracting more Chinese enterprises to invest in Bangladesh, so as to help Bangladesh realize its export diversification strategy and benefit the Bangladeshi people.
