The national flag carrier arranged a special flight for Nabil Ahmed, a student who sustained severe injuries during the protests, offering him a ticket from Dhaka to Bangkok for urgent treatment, according to a press release issued by Biman today.
Ahmed, who had been receiving treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka after being shot during the demonstrations, was flown to Bangkok on Biman’s BG-388 flight on Thursday. Due to his condition, special arrangements were made for his transport, including travel on a stretcher and dedicated handling at both Dhaka and Bangkok airports to ensure his safety and comfort.
The airline's gesture underscores its commitment to supporting those in need, as Ahmed begins his journey toward recovery with advanced medical treatment abroad.
