Flights at Zayed International Airport continue to face significant disruption due to ongoing regional tensions, particularly stemming from the Iran-Israel conflict.

UAE carriers, including Etihad Airways, Emirates, flydubai and Air Arabia, have extended suspensions on several Middle Eastern routes.

Etihad has cancelled all flights between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv until June 22, while Emirates has halted services to Amman, Beirut, Tehran, Baghdad, and Basra, with some cancellations in effect until June 30.

The airport has warned passengers to expect delays and advised checking flight status before travelling. Connecting passengers on suspended routes will not be accepted at departure points.

Airspace closures over Iran, Iraq, and Israel continue to impact travel across the region. Airlines are working to accommodate affected passengers with revised schedules and alternative arrangements, reports UNB.
