A Biman Bangladesh Airlines domestic flight bound for Chattogram was forced to return to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka on Monday afternoon after a technical issue caused an excessive rise in cabin temperature shortly after takeoff.

The Dash-8 aircraft departed from Dhaka at approximately 2:34pm but turned back just 21 minutes later, landing safely at HSIA at 2:55pm, confirmed Biman's General Manager (Public Relations) ABM Raoshan Kabir, reports UNB.

All passengers were later accommodated on the same aircraft, which resumed its journey and departed for Chattogram around 4pm, he added.
