People from all walks of life are returning to the capital Dhaka after celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr.



People from all walks of life are returning to the capital Dhaka after celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr.

Garment factories, banks and businesses in Dhaka have already reopened as a result thousands of people are returning to the capital from southern region of the country.

Thousands of people and many private cars were seen to wait for the crossing from Friday morning.

Due to lack of ferry service, many people are crossing the river by launch and speedboat.

According to the sources in Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC), a total of five ferries are being operated on the route. There are pressure of passengers and vehicles on the ghat.
