Housewife's hanging body recovered in Kalapara

Patuakhali: Police recovered the hanging body of a mother of two kids, named Mst. Maksuda (30) in Kalapara, Patuakhali. The body was recovered from M.S. Villa in Shantibag area of the municipality around 4 pm on Wednesday. She is known to be the wife of Dhaka businessman Md. Miraj Hossain.

A UD case has been filed at the police station in this incident. The body has been sent to Patuakhali morgue for autopsy.

Kalapara Police Station Sub-Inspector Md. Forkan Hossain said that due to a family dispute, she committed suicide by hanging herself with a ceiling fan. It is known that she was living as a tenant in the house of Mahbobu Hossain Talukder.

The house of the deceased's husband Miraj Hossain is in Damurhuda police station of Chuadanga. On the other hand, Maksuda's house is in Dariarpur village of Nilganj union in Kalapara. - Gofran Palash
