Two charred bodies recovered from chips factory in Badda

Police recovered two charred bodies from a chips factory in Badda area of the capital early Monday.


The deceased were identified as Md Mostafa, 21, son of Majnu Mia of Boro Kumarpara village under Taraganj Police Station in Rangpur district and Mahmudul Hasan, 23, son of Islam Uddin of Kazipara village in the same upazila.

Both worked at the factory located on Purba Badda Cemetery Road.

Harun Or Rashid, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Badda Police Station, said police recovered the bodies from inside the chips factory owned by Amir Hossain around 4am, reports UNB.

After completing legal formalities, the bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
