Decomposed body of unknown person found in Kuakata beach.

Patuakhali: Police recovered the half-decomposed body of an unidentified person from Kuakata beach. The body was recovered from the national park area adjacent to the beach on Sunday afternoon.

According to the police, the body washed ashore from the deep sea in the morning tide. Later, locals saw the body floating and informed the Kuakata Naval Police, After this police came and recovered the body.

Police said quoting the locals that the upper part of the body was tied with a rope.

Delwar Hossain, in-charge of Kuakata Naval Police Outpost, said that the body could not be identified as it was half-melted. It has been sent to Patuakhali morgue for post-mortem. - Gofran Biswas Palash
