2,460 kg polythene seized, 3 factories sealed in Dhaka

Dhaka, Nov 13 – A total of 2,460 kg of polythene have been seized, three factories sealed during an operation against polythene manufacturers in Dhaka’s Chawkbazar.

The operation was carried out on Wednesday.

The crackdown on polythene production will continue in the future, said Executive Magistrate Kazi Tamzid Ahmed, who led the operation with support from the army, RAB, and police. - UNB
