DSCC removed 23,791 tonnes of qurbani wastes

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has removed about 23,791 tonnes of Qurbani waste from different areas of the city under its jurisdiction over the last two days. 


The wastes were dumped at the Matuail Landfill, said a press lease of the DSCC.

It said a total of 14,814 tonnes of Qurbani wastes were dumped at the Matuail Landfill by 11:59 pm on the day of Eid-ul-Azha.

On the second day about 8,977 tonnes of waste was dumped by 11:59 pm, reports BSS.
