Patuakhali: Members of roller skaters conducted a cleaning drive at Kuakata Beach. Today Saturday at 12 o'clock in the organization of Bangladesh Roller Skating Federation, they conducted this operation at the zero point of the beach. At the same time, they cleaned an area of one kilometer east of the beach to encourage tourists not to throw garbage everywhere. Scout members from various local schools and colleges participated in this beach cleaning by welcoming them. 

Patuakhali District Administration Kuakata Executive Magistrate Rabiul Islam, Kalapara Assistant Commissioner (Land) Kaushik Ahmed and Kuakata Tourist Police Inspector Hasnain Parvez were also present at that time.

Earlier on Friday afternoon, the country's second largest BCPCL Roller Skating Marathon was held with the participation of 180 skaters from different parts of the country at the 6-lane road of Payra thermal power plant in Kalapara.- Gofran Biswas Palash
