Chief Adviser (CA) Professor Muhammad Yunus today extended warm greetings to the people of Bangladesh and Muslims worldwide on the eve of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his message, Dr. Yunus said, “On the occasion of this sacred month, I offer my heartfelt greetings to the people of our country and the global Muslim Ummah.”

He highlighted that Ramadan is a time for spiritual purification through self-restraint, offering a unique opportunity to seek the blessings, mercy, and forgiveness of Almighty Allah.

Dr. Yunus emphasized the role of fasting in fostering mutual sympathy, harmony, and brotherhood between the rich and poor.

Reflecting on the spirit of Ramadan, he urged everyone to refrain from indulgence, jealousy, hatred, and conflict, stressing the importance of self-control, patience, and restraint in all aspects of life.

In addition to fasting, Dr. Yunus encouraged all to read the Quran, pray, and engage in worship during this sacred time.

“May Almighty Allah grant us the strength to embody the teachings of Ramadan in our daily lives and in our nation,” he concluded.
