During his visit to Dhaka, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced a significant opportunity for Bangladeshi workers, revealing plans to recruit 18,000 individuals in the first phase of a new employment initiative.


The announcement came during a press conference on Friday afternoon, following a productive meeting with Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus at the Hotel InterContinental.

Prime Minister Ibrahim emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations, expressing his commitment to enhancing cooperation between Malaysia and Bangladesh. The recruitment initiative is seen as a vital step in fostering economic ties and providing new opportunities for Bangladeshi workers in Malaysia.
