Former Deputy General Manager of Bangladesh Bank (BB) Fakhrul Islam was crushed under the wheels of a train on Saturday morning.



Former Deputy General Manager of Bangladesh Bank (BB) Fakhrul Islam, 59, was crushed under the wheels of a train on Saturday morning.The incident took place in Khilgaon rail gate area around 8.30am.
Officer-in-Charge of Kamalapur Railway Thana Mazharul Haq said the Sundarbans Express Train ran over the ex-BB official when he was walking on the rail track, leaving him dead on the spot. The dead body has been sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
