Three cows killed in lightning in Patuakhali

Patuakhali: Three cows of a poor farmer were killed by lightning in Galachipa of Patuakhali. On Thursday (September 12) at around 5 am, three cows of Mojibar Khan, a farmer of Badura village of Naluabagi, Ward No. 9 of Golkhali Union of the upazila, died when lightning falls on the cows.

In this regard, poor farmer Mojibar Khan said, "The cows were tied in my cow shed. The cows died due to lightning around 5 am. He also said that I have lost about three lakh taka in this incident.

Golkhali UP Chairman Md. Nasir Uddin said, I have inquired. I have informed upazila executive officer and upazila livestock officer. Let's see if something can be done for him later.
