Youth killed in Sylhet road crash

A youth was killed another injured when a truck hit their motorbike in Omanpur area under Jointapur upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was Sohag 20, son of Aftab Uddin of Paschim Thakur Mati area under Chiknagul union in Jaintapur upazila.
The accident took place on the Sylhet-Tamabil highway when a truck hit a motorcycle from the opposite direction, leaving its two riders injured, said Tamabil Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Habibur Rahman, reports BSS.
The injured were taken to a local hospital where Sohag succumbed to his injuries, OC added.
