Gopalganj road crash kills two brothers

Two brothers were killed when a passenger bus hit their motorbike in the Dumdia area of Sadar upazla here last night.


The deceased were Ruhul Amin Khan, 65, and Dulal Amin Khan, 57, sons of Abul Kashem Khan of Khagail village in Sadar upazila. 

The accident took place on the Dhaka-Khulna highway around 10.30 pm when a Dhaka-bound bus hit a motorcycle from the opposite direction, leaving the bike rider Dulal dead on the spot and his brother Ruhul Amin critically injured, said Maksudur Rahman Murad, Officer-in-Charge of Bhatiapara Highway Police Station.

The injured Amin was taken to Gopalganj General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

The bodies of the two brothers have been handed over to their families, reports BSS.
