Two killed in Chuadanga road crash

Two people were killed and two others injured when a bus hit a van at Alukdia in Sadar upazila of Chuadanga district on Sunday.


The deceased were identified as Parvina Khatun, 45, wife of Raju Ahmed and Ramjan, 28, of Kacharipara village.

The accident occurred around 1pm when the Meherpur-bound bus from Chuadanga hit the van, leaving Parvina killed on the spot and three others injured, said Khaledur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Chuadanga Police Station.

Of the injured, van puller Ramjan succumbed to his injuries around 4pm, reports UNB. 

Police seized the bus, said OC.
