Bangladesh Bank (BB) has contributed Tk 23 crore to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund to support flood victims across the country.

The donation includes Tk 1 crore collected from the voluntary contribution of one day's salary from each of the central bank's officers and employees, according to a BB statement released today.

The remaining Tk 22 crore was donated from the central bank's disaster management and social responsibility fund, underscoring BB's commitment to aiding those affected by the floods, the statement added.
