Free Seeds and Fertilizer Distributed Among Small Farmers in Ramu

Seeds and Fertilizer are among essential inputs for the successful production of crops. Recently as part of the Robi 2023-24 fiscal incentive program, free seeds and fertilizer have been distributed among the small and marginal farmers of the Ramu Upazela. In order to increase crop production, the Ramu Upazela Krishi Office under the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) had arranged the seeds and fertilizer distribution program at free of cost. It may be mentioned here that 2 kg of Hybrid paddy seeds each was distributed among 2700 farmers while 5 kg Ufshi Boro Dhan seeds, 10 kg DAP

plus 10 kg MOP fertilizers each were given free of cost to 2000 farmers. It is hoped that crop production would be significantly increased with this government support.
