Dhaka, Saturday, February 8: BRAC Bank has opened a new branch in Cox’s Bazar, strengthening its presence in the tourist city.

With two branches in the city, customers will have more options for availing of best-in-class banking services in spacious premises with modern facilities.

The inauguration of another branch in the country’s top holiday destination and commercially important place signifies BRAC Bank’s commitment to covering more areas and reaching out to diverse customers.

Meheriar M. Hasan, Chairperson, and Selim R. F. Hussain, Managing Director and CEO, BRAC Bank, formally inaugurated the branch at Kolatoli in Cox’s Bazar on February 6, 2025.

Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, Deputy Managing Director and Head Branch Distribution Network, attended the inauguration ceremony. A. K. M. Tareq, Senior Zonal Head for North, Taher Hasan Al Mamun, Senior Zonal Head for South, Jamshed Ahmed Chowdhury, Regional Head, Chattogram Region, and senior branch distribution network officials were also present.

Commenting on the inauguration, Selim R. F. Hussain said, “We are expanding our branch network across the country as part of our strategic move to reach out to customers with our last-mile banking solutions. Having a wider physical branch network coupled with digital banking capabilities, we want to ensure banking convenience to valued customers located in every corner of the country.”
