Man’s bullet-hit body found in C’nawabganj border

The bullet-hit body of a man was found at Chapainawabganj border on Sunday, April 23, 2023.



Chapainawabganj, Apr 23 – The bullet-hit body of a 35-year old man was found along Chakpara border in Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district early Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Sadiqur Rahman, son of Taiabur Rahman of the upazila.

Local people spotted the body of Sadiqur at Chakpara bordering area near pillar no 183/4S adjacent to Jamtala Bridge and informed Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members around 6:30 am, said Commanding officer of BGB-59 Battalion, Golam Kibria.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Chapainawabganj 250-bed hospital morgue for autopsy, said Chowdhury Zobair, officer-in-charge of Shibganj Police Station. - UNB
