Gold Prices Cut by Tk 2,216 Per Bhori in Bangladesh

Gold prices have been reduced in the country’s market, with the price of 22-carat gold cut by Tk 2,216 per bhori to Tk 2,35,146.

The revised price came into effect at 10am today.

The price of 21-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 2,100 per bhori to Tk 2,24,590, while 18-carat gold has been cut by Tk 1,750 to Tk 1,92,864 per bhori.

Meanwhile, the price of gold under the traditional system has been reduced by Tk 1,458 to Tk 1,57,522 per bhori.

Earlier, on September 3, the price of 22-carat gold was increased by Tk 5,482 to Tk 2,37,362 per bhori, including VAT. The prices of 21-carat, 18-carat and traditional gold were also raised at the time.

Despite the reduction in gold prices, silver prices have remained unchanged.

The price of 22-carat silver remains Tk 5,132 per bhori, while 21-carat silver costs Tk 4,957, 18-carat silver Tk 4,257 and traditional silver Tk 3,207 per bhori.
