KOICA delegation meets RU Vice-Chancellor

A four-member delegation from KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) led by Program Manager Young-woon Kim, paid a courtesy call on Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University Professor Faridul Islam today. 


During the meeting held in the conference room of the Administration Building, the delegation discussed introducing a Korean language diploma course for RU students, establishing a Korean Corner at RU, and expanding higher education opportunities in Korea for interested students, as well as internships and employment.

They expressed interest in working jointly with RU on these initiatives. 

The RU Vice-Chancellor welcomed KOICA’s initiative and instructed the relevant officials to take necessary measures. 

They expressed optimism that this initiative would open new horizons for education and employment opportunities in Korea for RU students. 

Other members of the KOICA delegation included Bong-taek Lim, Ji-eun Eoh, and Adnan Taufiq Qader. 

Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Admin) Professor Abdul Alim, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Edu) Professor Mamunur Rashid, Director of the Institute of English and Other Languages Professor Masud Akhtar, and other concerned officials were present, reports BSS.
