Foundation stones Sheikh Hasina, Sheikh Russell Halls laid

Foundation stone of Sheikh Hasina Hall



Patuakhali: Foundation stone of Sheikh Hasina Student Hall and Sheikh Russell Student Hall has been laid at Patuakhali University of Science and Technology.

PSTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Swadesh Chandra Samant was present as the chief guest and formally inaugurated it on Sunday morning, July 31, at 10:30. 

University teachers, officials, students and employees were present on the occasion.

In the speech of the chief guest Professor Dr. Swadesh Chandra Samant said that if these two halls are constructed, the residential problems of the students will be solved. 

There will be no more common room. As a result, students will be able to stay in the hall in a healthy environment.

It is known that these two halls will be constructed under the project titled Further Development (2nd Phase) of the University. 

The number of seats of 10-storied Sheikh Russell Student Hall will be 600, the project cost of which has been estimated at 43,56,26,246/-taka and the 10-storied Sheikh Hasina Student Hall will also have 600 seats, the project cost of which has been estimated at 43,46,44,788/- taka. -Gofran Biswas
