Dhaka, 26 Oct - IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman lost to GM Makhnev Denis of Kazakhstan in the fifth round games of the Pavlodar Open Chess 2023 which is now being held in Pavlodar Province in Kazakhstan.

The fifth round games were held on Wednesday last afternoon and IM Fahad Rahman played with black pieces and lost after 48th moves, said a press release here today. He secured three points after fifth round games.
