
Dhaka, 31 Oct - IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman finished 14th in the
Pavlodar Open Chess which concluded Tuesday in Pavlodar Province,
Kazakhstan.
He earned six points out of 10 games and finished the 14th position.
The 10th or last round games were held today with IM Mohammad Fahad Rahman drew with Utegaliyev Azamat of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, in the ninth round games on Monday last, Fahad Rahman drew with GM Suleymenov Alisher of Kazakhstan and increased 15 rating from this event.
GM Aditya Mittal of India emerged champion with eight points and GM Nikitenko Mihail of Belarus became runner-up while GM Bocharov Dmitry of Russia finished third with 7.5 points.
A total of 86 players from 18 countries including 15 grandmasters, one woman grandmasters, 20 International Masters and three Women's International Masters participated in this event.
