FM Neer emerges unbeaten champion

Dhaka, 31 Oct  - FM Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh Navy emerged unbeaten champion in the Int'l FIDE Rating Chess tournament that concluded on Tuesday.

 Neer earned 6.5 points out of seven games to clinch the title.
 The seventh or last round games were held at Manha's Castle hall-room with FM Manon Reja Neer split point with FM Nayem Haque, Swarnavo Choudhury split point with CM Ikramul Haq Siam, FM Mehdi Hasan Parag beat Din Mohammad.
 
FM Nayem Haque earned 5.5 points while FM Mehdi Hasan Parag, Swarnavo Choudhury and CM Ikramul Haq Siam earned five points each.
 
The prize distribution ceremony of the championship will be held Wednesday at the same venue.
