Tahsin loses to his Mexico rival

Dhaka, 5 March - FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia lost to International Master Galaviz Medina Sion Radamantys of Mexico in the 8th round of World Junior (Under-20 Years) Chess Championship now being held in Petrovac, Montenegro on Tuesday.

Tahsin played with white pieces' choice the Catalan Opening system and lost against IM Galaviz Medina Sion Radamantys after 43 moves.

International Master Manon Reja Neer however defeated FIDE Master Krivenko Dion of Estonia. He played with white pieces against Sicilian Defense of Krivenko Dion, the game continued Four Knights Variation and won at 90th moves.

Tahsin secured five points while Neer bagged 4.5 points after 8th round matches.

In the 9th round, FIDE Master Tahsin Tajwar Zia scheduled to play with IM Atanasov Anthony of Canada and IM Manon Reja Neer meets FIDE Master Akhilbay Imangali of Kazakhstan tonight. BSS
