Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has indicated that mild cold wave may sweep at places over northern and western parts of the country on Thursday.

BMD's weather expert Dr Abul Kalam Mallick confirmed it on Tuesday (December 12).

He said mild cold wave would sweep over several districts of the country on Wednesday, increasing the feelings of winter.

Besides, there would be dense fog over the last couple of days. There will be dense fog from tonight to 10:00am on December 17.
